The village is located in the foot of Stara Planina mountain - 18 km away from Karnobat, 60 km from Bourgas and 8 km away from the main road Bourgas – Sofia. The area offers picturesque countryside views, hunting and fishing opportunities as it is very close to a few dams and the forest.

The population of the village is around 200 people. There are a few shops for essentials, a post office and everyday bus transport to Karnobat.
